The Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi introduced the first-ever professional basketball league to Abu Dhabi.

Over the course of two-consecutive years, the league successfully brought together 90 teams comprising more than 1,000 boys and girls from schools across the emirate. This initiative was presented in collaboration with National Basketball Association (NBA) and Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT).

In addition to the league matches, the Jr. NBA program extended its impact by offering Coaching Clinics. These clinics served as educational opportunities for coaches, enhancing their understanding of the game and fostering professional development.

The Jr. NBA School League has proven to be a highly successful platform within the school sports landscape, marking the beginning of a promising initiative in Abu Dhabi.
